Helping you

more people
We create websites for Local Safeguarding Partnerships to help them
promote, support and monitor safeguarding throughout their community
At Blue Llama our mission is to
Make Digital Simple.
This means we take time to understand your organisation and the people you serve so as to create a website that is easy to use and equally resonates with professionals, families, carers and those who may be at risk.
We want the process of developing your website to be a fun, easy and rewarding experience for everyone involved. We don’t take a cookie cutter approach, but aim to build a bespoke website that closely addresses your unique set of needs.
In a nutshell, we’ll create the website your local safeguarding partnership truly needs.
Pillars of our Safeguarding websites
When we create you a website for you, we’ll make sure it ticks all these boxes:
A unique Identity
Your website will have it’s own unique identity and personality, separate to that of your local authority and other partnerships.
Relevant to all
Engage with more than just professionals. We’ll help you build user journeys so all your stakeholders are catered for.
Clean & easy to use
Your audiences will love our clean layouts and intuitive navigation that results in a great user experience (UX).
Effective search
Having a great search facility that can also index PDF documents is invaluable to help people find what they need easily.
Training Management
Empower people to book your courses online and automate waiting lists, distribution of certificates and other admin tasks.
Accessible to all
We use the latest accessibility tools and automated language translation to get your message out to everyone, on any device.
Easy to update
Our custom WordPress build allows you to easily manage your document library, update content, and add news and insights.
Great support
Don’t fear, if technology isn’t your thing, we have a dedicated support team to help you keep your website fresh and engaging.
What our clients say
Hear from Catherine Davison, Board Manager of Jersey Safeguarding Partnership Board.
We know that every local authority has their own set of safeguarding concerns and priorities, so we listen with an open mind, asking the right questions to better understand your aims, the communities you serve and challenges you encounter in doing so. We speak plain English, avoiding technical jargon and marketing speak, so you can feel comfortable putting forward your ideas.
Once a project gets going we’ll meet regularly to align our deliverables with your vision. We know this regular contact helps remove surprises and greatly improves the end result – keeping everyone happy and on track.

Simple for your communities
We design our websites with the end users in mind. To do this we need to understand the different groups you serve with and how they interact with your organisation. We then put ourselves in their shoes, making decisions based on how to satisfy their needs as seamlessly as possible. By understanding their problems, we can build a more empathetic and intuitive solution. This might mean presenting the same information in different ways so it is digestible by all, for example children are more likely to engage with video and illustrations.
We have experience with online document libraries, training management systems, accessibility options and a host of other features that can make your website a more rich and satisfying experience for all that use it.

CASE STUDY:
Jersey Safeguarding Partnership Board
We chose a super clean and clear design so all audience groups could easily find the information they needed quickly. Simple fonts and colours were chosen to help people with visual impairments and rather than photography, we opted for illustrations that allowed for an upbeat portrayal for what is often a sensitive topic.
We found and integrated the website with a 3rd party learning management system (LMS) that had a realm of features allowing the training team to automate waiting lists, the creation and distribution of certificates and reminder emails. This greatly reduced their admin burden.
We also created an online document library and categorised the the documents within logical groups, as well as implementing a sophisticated search facility that could read the contents of PDFs.
